This is a little sketch that I drew a while back and just decided to finish up because it looks flippin' awesome.
the concept is a bit more internal struggle for Ashenpaw himself, honestly the picture moreso looks cool than it does to represent anything in specific, but I think it could easily be interpreted for the darkness in his mind or maybe flashback to some of the nightmares he had during Nicholas's whole darkness takeover before the big reveal

I'm not sure, but at least it looks awesome!! I used a ton of textures with this and tried to play around with the lighting and special effects to really push for the feeling I was going for, I'm not entirely sure if I succeeded but it was fun to work on regardless!

Purrl this is fantastic *wheezes*

I remember seeing the WIP for this and I thought it was just incredible! The finished version is even more so. Man this reminds me a little bit of that very first RP we did with Ash and Hop. I remember how Ash was so broken and Hop found his mind so jarring that he didn't want to use his telepathy. If this is the darkness in his mind, it makes sense that Hop's self-defense instinct kicked in to keep him away... but man, poor Ash having to struggle against the current every day tugs at my heartstrings. He's such a good boy. And that fierce expression! I don't think there's anyone who would believe he isn't putting up one hell of a fight.
