Set Fire To The Heavensby *Purrlstar

I started this picture sometime this morning and gradually worked all day on it~

I felt the need to draw phoenix, and I woke up today with this song stuck in my head: [link]
So I figured, Why not draw Phoenix to the song? 8D

So I did~

I secret Livestream'd the background of this, and according to that it took about two hours.

Then again, I wanted to add some little fiery comets or something coming from the sky, but I couldn't get it to look right so I just left them out xDD;

I think it turned out really nice ;3; I tried real hard to make my anatomy right but I could use some critiques guysss!~ <3

Oh, and I have to thank ~Frightling too, she red-lined (or in this case purple-lined because I sketched partially in red) the sketch for me when I first started c8

wicked awsome pic i agree with feline about the river blending in with the mountains at first before i read felines comment i never new there was a river!

i drew phoenix.i had to draw him! he's just so awesome! sorry i could't make him black the first one i drew i messed up the eye tring to fill it with paint then i destroyed it when i tryed coloring his body black with the paint bucket.
i drew it for ya purrlstar cuz your an awesome artist and he's an awesome cat.
