I haven't drawn anything in aaaaages it feels like! I've been super busy and hanging out with friends and playing videogames for weeks, I haven't had the time to sit down and draw for quite some time. So this was a refreshing doodle thing to get back into the swing of my characters and doing finished pictures! since I've been doing a lot of character development and practicing with different styles/drawing humans, it's nice to remind yourself that you are actually pretty good at the original subjects of your inspired mind, if you know what I'm saying ;D 

So! I didn't really have a story in mind with this one, I was inspired by this song/map and I really wanted to draw something to it. Originally I had a completely different idea in mind that I didn't even touch on, but I sketched out something while listening to the song and suddenly I had to make it real, even though it wasn't what I intended!

So, as you all know Purrl is probably my most flexible character as far as her story goes, and I feel like everything and nothing is canon with her, and that's okay! 

In this picture I kind of wanted to capture the idea of fracture tempting Purrl with his comfort, saying that he'd keep her safe and help her, saying anything she wanted in order to hand over her star necklace. Which I decided is probably a really huge component towards Purrl's powers and personality, I never really thought of the trinket holding anything other than significance before, so this is a really interesting picture!

Obviously though, fracture isn't really interested in Purrl at all. He needs to devour her soul in order to create his world of chaos and fully form himself. Which, technically, would make everything he creates be her world as well, so that line from the song (quoted above) just really spoke to me~ and that's why I had to draw these guys to it! >w> 

I know I don't usually go into explaining the stories and things behind my artwork as of lately, but I want to get back into the habit if that's alright with you guys! ;w;
