And btw, I love your backgrounds. Look a little 2-D, especially the building directly behind him, but you prolly intended to do that, right? Plus, it's better than I could ever do with my backgrounds
yes I intended to get a little bit of a 2-D look because I wanted the main focus to be on the character and the setting/layout more than the depth of the picture, too much depth and darkness draws the eye in and I wanted all of the shadows to be at the front of the picture where the mysterious cat is ;3
I'm so glad you've seen my improovement, I have to agree with you and say I'm extremely impressed with my own artistic abilities as of late! <3
